Feature Details: Mastery Status

The Mastery Status feature serves a dual purpose in PointScribe.

For students, Mastery Status provides a visual display of which shapes they have succeeded in completely mastering in each shape library, and their overall progress toward mastering all shapes.

Behind the scenes it focuses on the learning experience: when Mastery Status is enabled, it automatically removes shapes that have been mastered from any lesson content presented. The student is only presented with shapes not yet completely mastered (mastery is marked by the achievement of success goals through Challenge Level 10, on any given shape).

Mastery Status Window

This window only appears when in classroom mode. Students launch their lesson from the Master Status Window.

Green in the background square of a shape, denotes a mastered shape, red denotes shapes not yet mastered.
Stars to the right of each shape library shine (fill in) with yellow when an entire library is mastered.
- PointScribe's Certificate Manager allows teachers to generate and print peronalized achievementcertificates each time a library is mastered, and, when all shapes in the program are mastered.
The progress bar with sliding star across bottom indicates how many shapes, out of all shapes (62 shapes total) have been mastered.
