Foreign Alphabets
Create foreign alphabet characters with the User Created feature. PointScribe users have done this with special characters from the Spanish and German alphabets as well as building the entire Hebrew alphabet.

Kinesthetic Exercise Use a standard laptop with a touch screen to implement Pointscribe. This configuration requires students to reach over the keyboard---developing arm and shoulder musculature---kinsthetics that help implant the neural image of letters through gross motor movements.

Pre-Writing Skills Teach the concept of interacting with a page of text top-to-bottom, right-to-left by building a simple path of curves from the top left to lower right of user created palette. Use colors and themes to build a game of interest the student, i.e. a race track (red, yellow, black with a race car to move to the finish flag.)

Side-by-Side Reinforcement While the student is at the computer in front of PointScribe, the educator sits next to the student with a small white board on her lap. Have the student work through a sequence of your choice in PointScribe. Each time the student completes a shape on the screen, have him write the same shape immediately following that onto the white board.

Eye Tracking Build a simple eye tracking exercise by choosing the largest width stroke in the User Created area, then, cover the Palette with randomly placed dots. Select desired colors and theme for lesson. Students follow the prompt as jumps around the page from dot to dot.
